ITCO launches tank container e-learning course, 8 December 2016

ITCO, the International Tank Container Organisation, has launched its first e-learning course. The course provides measurable learning on the safe, competent and efficient use of tank containers, offering general awareness about the operation of portable tanks as prescribed by IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods). In addition, it gives users the knowledge to progress to function-specific training. The course has been developed by ITCO and produced by Exis Technologies, a leader in online courses for the transport industry.

Exis Technologies launches e-learning courses to aid compliance with CTU Code and container VGM requirements, 10 May 2016

IMDG Code Amendment 38-16 Summary of Changes, 27 April 2016

The next update to the IMDG Code (Amendment 38-16) will be published by the International Maritime Organization towards the end of 2016. Compliance is optional from 1 January 2017 and mandatory on 1 January 2018.
